Learning about character development in stories at a young age not only stimulates the imagination but also helps children think about their own identity. Storytelling is a timeless activity that helps children develop social skills. Creative writing stretches the child's imagination, clarifies thinking and fosters artistic expression. At Storymakery, our approach and process shows kids how much fun they can have with writing when they let their imaginations soar!
We host field trips for pre-school through junior high. During their visit, students will experience an engaging, fun and educational experience. We tailor our field trip programs based on group size and grade level. During the visit, they will create their own character, participate in fun self-expression activities, receive creative writing and/or plot development instruction and work with the writers to build stories in groups. Each child receives a soft cover storybook.
Our writers will work with your troops to show just how much fun story writing can be when kids are encouraged to let their imagination soar. Whether you are a Daisy, Brownie, Cadette or Junior troop, our programs are fun, inspiring and educational for all levels. Each troop member will take home a soft cover storybook!
Whether you are looking for an outing for Boy Scouts, YMCA, Home School organizations, or other clubs, we have a variety of programs that can be tailored to complement your goals and meet your budget! We offer group rates for 6 or more people. Pricing varies by group size.
